Crispy Chilli Makhana

Crispy Chilli Makhana is a delicious Indo-Chinese snack made with crunchy fox nuts tossed in spicy, tangy sauces. Best enjoyed hot and fresh.

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour and salt. Coat makhana evenly.
  2. Deep fry the coated makhana until crispy. Keep aside.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and sauté garlic and onions.
  4. Add chilli sauce, ketchup, soya sauce, vinegar, salt, and chilli powder.
  5. Add a little water and mix well to form a sauce.
  6. Add fried makhana and toss well to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and serve immediately.
