Roasted Makhana

Roasted Makhana is a quick, healthy snack rich in protein and fiber. Lightly roasted in ghee or olive oil, it makes a perfect guilt-free snack for any time of the day.

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add ghee or olive oil and let it heat.
  3. Add makhana and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Roast on low heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. Once crisp and lightly golden, add salt and spices.
  6. Turn off heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Store roasted makhana in an airtight container once fully cooled. They stay fresh and crunchy for up to a week.
